The art of creation for me hinges on my need to express myself in nature. Being connected to a specific space and surrounded by natural elements provides the grounding I need. When I conclude my art practice by sharing a piece with the outside environment, it not only names and completes the work but also ties it into a larger whole. This form of communication deeply connects me to my world and my place within it. My art becomes unified with the interconnectedness of all things in nature. When I experiment with my ideas, patterns, colors, and theories, they all stem from my outdoor experiences and interactions with the natural world.
